Ora et labora – Grow your faith and your sales

The NUMBER 1 rule EVERY Catholic should follow in email marketing

I won’t lie about this post.

I’m trying to build up my inventory of content, but I don’t have a lot of time right now to do extra writing, so …

I’m repurposing content, which you can do, too.

If you want to know more about how to squeeze as much life out of the content you’re already creating, reach out to me at [email protected], and maybe we can chat.

This next piece was from a series I did on LinkedIn where I wrote about 100 posts over the span of a little more than 100 days. (I took Sundays off, and perhaps a few Saturdays here and there!) Eventually, I might package those into some kind of info-product, but that’s another plan for another day.

In this post, I talk about the number one rule when it comes to writing super-awesome emails to help you grow your sales …

A rule that none of the other marketing gurus will even talk about directly.

I did make a few quick edits here and there, but it’s all good.

Read.

Learn.

Enjoy.

Do you know what time it is?

It’s time to step up your sales …

Which means it’s time to step up your email marketing game by sending daily emails to your list!

This isn’t as hard as it sounds, and the more you do it, the better you’ll get at it.

We can talk about content and strategy all day, but there’s something more important to look at first – structure.

For that, there’s nothing better than having some rules to follow, especially if you want to send emails that your clients actually look forward to reading.

So …

I have a few rules to keep in mind that I mentioned in the post titled, The 11-Teen Marketing Trad Rules for Writing Better Emails & Making Your Mom Proud, guidelines to help you create emails that can generate more revenue, and make your mom proud at the same time.

The first one?

It’s not something you’ll hear from other marketing how-to people, but it’s definitely the most important.

RULE 1 – Honor God.

What does that mean for your brand?

For starters, it doesn’t mean you don’t have to hit people over the head with evangelizing emails …

But the content should be something that won’t have you hanging your head in front of Our Lord.

So, nothing sinful …

And nothing promoting vice or anything that will offend God, either.

It also means being honest with what you’re selling.

Like St. Thérèse of Lisieux says …

It’s important to do even the smallest things with great love for God …

And yes, that can and should mean your marketing material, too.

Being aware of the presence of God is part of the Catholic life, and we can’t just turn off our journey to holiness once Mass is over on Sundays.

It’s a daily commitment in all the aspects of our personal and professional lives.

More to come.

Stay holy my friend and God bless.
