Sending daily emails is the best way to build up the relationship with your list, but where are you going to find the time to crank out all that copy?
It’s a good question …
Doing a weekly eblast like a newsletter isn’t a bad alternative, that’s only one email per week, and those are really easy to set up, but it still requires that nasty four-letter word that nobody likes to utter in polite company.
You know the word …
It’s “work”!
And yes, even a weekly email takes time to put together, and it’s helpful to always be on the lookout for content.
It’s worth it, though.
Daily and weekly emails are the perfect opportunities to inject your personality into your sales process and differentiate yourself from the competition, but let’s circle back to the opening question …
Where are you going to find the time, funboy?!
The only way you’re going to have the time is if you take the time.
I know, I know …
It’s not the answer most people want to hear, because it demands you take responsibility for your actions and how you manage your time, but it’s true.
It’s like building the relationship you have with your family.
If you don’t take time for your wife or kids, for example, that bond is going to grow thin, which makes me think about my late Italian grandmother.
Good ol’ nonna!
She always wanted to feed me.
Whenever I went over, she’d always tell me to “Mangia! Mangia!” at the dinner table.
I was “too skinny,” she’d say. (If she could only see me now!)
So, nonna would make sure that I’d eat, and eat, and eat, and eat, and eat, and eat …
And that’s the way she showed her love, through her amazing food and making sure her loved ones were always well fed.
Man, I really miss that woman.
She left me with a great example, though, that helped shape my email marketing philosophy.
Feed your readers well.
Now, in terms of that time question, it’s not always easy to find 10 to 15 minutes to get the job done.
For me, I don’t mind doing it, because writing has always been such a huge part of my life – it’s like I HAVE to do it …
It’s just part of who I am.
I made a living, for years, as a professional writer in the television news industry, where I learned and honed my craft in some rather high-pressure environments.
These days, I use those same skills to raise money and make sales …
And it’s a totally different sense of accomplishment when I can help a Catholic entrepreneur build up their reputation with their readers.
For the entrepreneurs out there who have a lot on their plate, I can get why the idea of writing emails every day would seem like the last thing you want to do …
Especially after a day where you’re putting out fires, managing people’s egos, and trying to get the best performance out of your team …
And sitting down to write an email is probably the last thing you want to do.
That’s why there are blokes like me.
Shoot me an email and book your paid consultation today, and maybe we can sort out a plan that works best for your business, whether we’re talking about daily emails or weekly newsletters.
The only way you can reach me is at [email protected].
Stay holy and God bless.

Post Scriptum – The Gospel Reading, in the Old Rite, for this special Feast of The Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, aka. The Presentation of the Lord, aka. Candlemas: “At that time, when the days of Mary’s purification, according to the law of Moses, were accomplished, they carried him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord: As it is written in the law of the Lord: “Every male opening the womb shall be called holy to the Lord”: And to offer a sacrifice, according as it is written in the law of the Lord, “a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons”
And behold there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon: and this man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel. And the Holy Ghost was in him. And he had received an answer from the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death before he had seen the Christ of the Lord. And he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when his parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him according to the custom of the law, He also took him into his arms and blessed God and said, “Now thou dost dismiss thy servant, O Lord, according to thy word in peace: Because my eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all peoples: A light to the revelation of the Gentiles and the glory of thy people Israel.” (Luke 2:22-32)
